Simply clean by hand washing with mild soap and water.
Do not let the board soak in a sink and do not put it in the dishwasher.
Dry your board right away, standing upright to dry.
A great natural way to clean your board without any detergents is by using Lemon Juice or White Vinegar. The acid in these liquids breaks up and removes any organic residues left over.
Oiling your board frequently will condition the wood and keeps it from cracking or splintering.

Make sure it is completely dry.
Then completely douse your board with FOOD GRADE mineral oil or Beeswax.
Leave it to absorb as long as possible, ideally overnight.
Avoid using cooking oils like Olive or Walnut Oil as these will go rancid over time.
